What are the Angel and Ascension Teacher Training Courses and Who are they for?
These are certificated training courses from the Diana Cooper School and are for those who want to lead their own workshops and teach others about Angels and Ascension.
It is the intention that these courses offer knowledge and skills in a way that will empower you to spread the light of angels and ascension by facilitating your own groups and workshops. The courses are mainly experiential, with the emphasis of the training being on developing practical teaching skills, increasing confidence, empowerment and enhancing your abilities and talents. Some personal study is required both before and during the courses, to increase your knowledge, learning and soul growth.
These certificated teaching courses are based on material and ideas provided by Diana Cooper and are facilitated by Margaret Merrison. Diana will not be present on any of the courses. At the successful completion of the course, you will be qualified to run their own Angel and/or Ascension Workshops and have the option of subscribing as a member of the Diana Cooper School.
When you attend these courses you should already have some knowledge of angels and/or ascension and have a desire to enhance your connection with the spirit world and to spread the word of angels and/or the light to those you meet.
There are no academic qualifications required. The main requirement is a desire from the heart to spread the light of angels and/or ascension and to progress along your own spiritual journey.
As a course participant, it is important that you are able to take charge of your own actions and wellbeing. After completion of the course, you will be in a position of responsibility, able to facilitate your own groups or help individuals. Therefore a state of mental and emotional stability is desirable, both now and in your past history.
Many previous course participants are from the healing arts or are complementary health practitioners, however it is not necessary that you have this background.
What do you get from the courses?
During the course you will be presented with full notes, so the emphasis of the training will be on practicing the skills, gaining confidence and empowerment. Home study is spread throughout the course and is intended to take no more than 20 hours.

Give you the expertise and skills to facilitate a group, meditation or workshop in a professional manner.
Empower you with the confidence to organise and facilitate a talk, group or workshop and to lead mediations.
Give you the basic framework for structuring Angel and/or Ascension workshops
Show you how to connect with the Angels or Ascended Masters for your own benefit and for others.
Give you a variety of exercises to use in your own workshops to enhance connection with the spirit world.
Provide you with powerful techniques to develop the light body, transmute energies and enhance your healing abilities.
Provide an opportunity for personal development and advancement on your spiritual journey.
On successful completion of a course, personal study and attendance you will: -
have the knowledge, skills and confidence to run your own workshops.
Please note that the course does not lead to a certificate to be a Master Teacher (those who teach the teacher training courses) on behalf of the Diana Cooper School - this requires experience, selection and further training.
receive a certificate as an Angel and/or Ascension Teacher from the Diana Cooper School.
be able to say that you are a qualified Angel and/or Ascension Teacher of the Diana Cooper School in your advertising and literature.
be expected to adhere to the Code of Ethics, Practice and Advertising Standards issued by the Diana Cooper School.
have the option to subscribe as a professional member to The Diana Cooper School, which will give you a variety of benefits such as having your contact and workshop details listed on the school web site, receiving regular newsletters and any updates from Diana when they are issued.
What is the contents of the courses?
A foundation module of 3 days will enable you to help individual clients, give you the expertise and skills to facilitate a group or workshop in a professional manner, empower you with the confidence to organise and hold a group or workshop and give you the basic framework for the Angel and Ascension courses. Personal study will consist of preparing a short activity and a meditation.
An Angel module of 6 days will enable you to lead groups in angel meditations, show you how to connect to the angels for your own benefit and others, empower you with the confidence to speak about angels in front of others, give you a variety of exercises to use in your workshops to enhance angelic connection and show you how to use angelic energy for healing. Personal study will consist of preparing a short angel meditation, creating a short angel exercise, preparing a five minute inspirational talk on angels, preparing a one day angel workshop programme and an essay on a topic of your choice about angels (can be on tape).
An Ascension module of 6 days will allow you to confidently lead meditations (visualisations) to increase the light body and connect with the Ascended Masters, give you an understanding of the ascension process, provide you with powerful techniques to develop the light body and transmute energies and healing abilities and increase your confidence in speaking and leading your own groups. Personal study will consist of preparing a short ascension meditation, creating an ascension exercise, preparing a five minute inspirational talk on ascension, preparing a one day ascension workshop programme and an essay on a topic of your choice about ascension (can be on tape).

The tutor for the courses at the Unicorn Centre is Margaret Merrison. She trained as a teacher with Diana Cooper on her last teaching course for Angels and Ascension in November 2003. Margaret was then invited to become a Master Teacher in October 2004 and has been running teacher training courses ever since. Margaret is a member of the Diana Cooper School and was the membership secretary for 2 years and has been the treasurer since March 2005.

Accommodation, Refreshments, Course Dates and Costs
When you book a course and if you live a fair distance from Somerset, Margaret will send you a list of accommodation in the area. The list is a range of Guest House/Bed and Breakfast establishments and will include all contact details and a price guide. The prices start at £18.00 per person per night for a basic room to £50.00 per person per night for en suite accommodation.

At the Unicorn Centre, during the courses you will be provided with a selection of hot drinks, filtered water, fruit and biscuits. At lunch breaks you may bring your own packed lunch and eat it in the centre or go to the village pub, which is just a couple of minutes walk from the centre.

An Angel OR Ascension Teacher Training course is 10 consecutive days (with 2 half days off).
Certificated Ascension 10 Day Intensive Teacher Training Course includes Foundation and Ascension Modules: 28th November to 7th December 2008
Certificated Angel 10 Day Intensive Teacher Training Course includes Foundation and Angel Modules: 23rd January to 1st February 2009
Costs: -
The cost of the complete Angel and Ascension Teacher Training course (Foundation, Angel and Ascension modules) is £1250. A deposit of £375 will be requested when booking.
The cost of an Angel or Ascension only Teacher Training course (Foundation and Angel OR Foundation and Ascension Modules) is £750. A deposit of £225 will be requested when booking.
The prices are fixed in the UK by the Diana Cooper School. At The Unicorn Centre it includes fruit, biscuits and a selection of drinks during courses, but excludes meals and accommodation. Payment by instalments of standing order or post dated cheques is available if required, please ask Margaret for details.
